ABOUT ME

WHERE I COME FROM

DSC06762.JPEG

The Tolleson Union High School District (TUHSD) is my home. It’s where I’ve bought my first house, where my family is rooted, and where I see my future kids growing up. TUHSD is more than a district to me — it’s a community I’m proud to serve and invest in.

I come from an immigrant family that taught me the values of hard work, service, and giving back to the community. Those values have guided my life and my work.

MY EXPERIENCE

As a Varsity high school soccer coach and youth soccer coach, I work directly with students and understand their challenges and aspirations. Beyond the field, I’ve spent years in the nonprofit sector, leading programs that expand opportunities for underserved families and empower young people to succeed. My commitment to leadership and service has been recognized, including being named to the Latino 30 Under 30 list in 2022.

At Harvard, I represented my peers on the Undergraduate Council, where I advocated for students and gained experience in collaborative, student-centered leadership.Together, these experiences have prepared me to serve TUHSD with dedication, accountability, and a deep belief in the power of public education.

MISSION STATEMENT

Empowering Students, Empowering Community

My mission is rooted in four pillars that guide my campaign for TUHSD Governing Board:

Amplifying Student & Teacher Success

Celebrate and uplift the achievements of our students, teachers, and families so their impact shines across our community.

Investing in a Safe & Supportive Learning Environment

Prioritize safety, mental health, and inclusivity so every student feels secure and supported.

Building Strong Community

Bring together teachers, families, and local partners to create opportunities and solve challenges collaboratively.

Future-Ready Education for All

Equip every graduate with the skills, pathways, and opportunities to thrive in a fast-changing world.

Together, these pillars reflect my belief that when we invest in our students, we invest in the future of TUHSD and the strength of our community.
